Natural disaster movie, The Wave has a brand new trailer and quad poster, one in which actually scared the living daylights out of us.
What’s so scary you ask? The thought that amongst all disaster movies this one could actually happen one day. With the threat of Global Warming and Earthquakes escaping from a giant wave that’s ready to consume an entire population is very real.
Experienced, Norwegian geologist Kristian Eikfjord (Kristoffer Joner) has accepted a job offer out of town. He is getting ready to move from the city of Geiranger with his family (Ane Dahl Torp, Jonas Hoff Oftebro), when he and his colleagues measure small geological changes underground. Kristian realises his worst nightmare is about to come true: the alarm goes off and disaster is upon them. With less than 10 minutes to react, it becomes a race against time in order to save as many lives as possible including his own family.
THE WAVE will arrive in cinemas on 12 August.
