The feisty, female rapper Lady Lykez is back with her new track ‘Eurgh’ showcasing her hard flows.
“Eurgh! represents something that’s sick…” Lykez explains. “I was in the studio freestyling over this instrumental and I just felt it was so dirty & gritty and the energy I was getting from the track was just straight Eurgh!!! Each verse has a different flow and I just wanted to have fun and show that I’m not limited to one style.”
The single is set for release on April 28th on her own label imprint ‘Lykez It’ Records through Absolute via Universal, and will include remixes from Dexplicit and Beatmakers.
Lykez is currently on tour throughout the London boroughs using her music to impact young people in a positive way through her work with Only Connect. OC takes credible role models – including ex-offenders – into schools and colleges to put on high-impact presentations addressing issues including crime, gangs, bullying, drugs, sexual exploitation, and deliver arts projects aimed at challenging attitudes and improving behaviour.
