Last weekend, Truck Festival returned once again with a smashing lineup.

Truck Festival returned with a bang to Hill Farm with a truly insane lineup. What more could you want when the headliners were Two Door Cinema Club, Alt-J, and Royal Blood? Not to mention, performances from the likes of Self Esteem, The Wombats, Kate Nash, The Vaccines, and many, many more.

There’s not one person that wouldn’t know at least one song by the headliners which makes this the perfect lineup. Attracting fans across all demographics, from teenagers and students alike to families and thirty-somethings to enjoy a truly great weekend of music.

It’s our second time attending Truck and after last year’s major success we had to come back, this time we included camping on our list, and oh boy did we come prepared.

Since the Summer in the UK is extremely unpredictable and attending a festival in the countryside can leave you in two situations, you’ll either be extremely hot and desperate to find shade or soaking wet, cold, and covered in mud… there’s no in-between.

Truck Festival has many different camping options however we put up camp in the Zodiac Fields which if you’re looking for comfort (nicer toilets and hot showers) then add this to your list for next year.

Fortunately or unfortunately for others, Truck Festival was a complete washout on Saturday, however, despite the extremely wet weather, festival-goers like myself will not be defeated. Soaking wet and covered in mud, fans still gathered in masses to see headliners Alt-J perform.

And if you’re sick of the rain, Truck Festival has tents where you can get dry and listen to different genres of music, whether drum & bass is your thing or you’re strictly alternative, there’s something for everybody including a silent disco for the campers afterwards.

If you haven’t been to a silent disco, then you’re missing out. Throw out any embarrassment and embrace the sounds of bad voices everywhere whilst you dance the night away.

Truck Festival is set to return next year and we can only expect the lineup to get better as the years go on. For more information, please click here
