The hesitation of ‘weather’ or not to layer up everyday gradually disappears as officially the first day of summer approaches meaning we can put away the winter heavies- not convinced, no?
Well here is one of the regular trend breakdowns for this SS14, by the end you’ll be ready- starting with one of my favourites – Pastels!
Think pink, mint, light blue, lavender, powder grey, baby yellow and nude. Plain sheath dresses are my favourite as they will take you from the office to a flawless evening look, simple, feminine and classic.
For more edge, keep everything tailored and mix the colour’s, eg: a short or knee length pastel pink skirt/shorts, a mint or light blue no sleeve shirt and a pastel yellow clutch bag. If your not that daring keep an item white (top or bottom) and paint your nails mint – alter according to your wardrobe.
Make-up: Transfer the colour scheme to your eyes. This is going to be so much fun while keeping it elegant. For darker eyes you can still smoke just not as intensely, avoid bold lines and use your desired pastel as the base colour.
Accessories: Pastels look incredible with delicate accents of gold.
This look is elegant paired with nude heels or flats, clutch or handbag. Even better all of them to transition from day to evening. Remember to keep your pastels clean on those long summer days. How? Make sure you get a stain and dirt cleaner from www.thingsgirlsneed.com
