For those of you that don’t know, Tinie is very much a British style icon, the GQ 2012 Best Dress Man was selected in January by the British Fashion Council as a member of the London Collections committee, alongside Tom Ford, Christopher Bailey, and Selfridges’ very own David Walker-Smith. Known for his urban, swarve, sleek, and rather sexy dress sense, it’s no wonder Selfridges jumped at the opportunity to have his line on board. Although the line doesn’t feature the grown and sexy tailored style we love, the collection’s fiercely urban look is one we’ll all fall in love with too.
‘I love British style. I don’t think anywhere else in the world would have thought of the word ‘dapper’ before we did – that’s definitely one of our own.’ Says Tinie ‘I love how London is a very cosmopolitan place. You can go down to the East End and see different people wearing a fresh take on traditional clothing and then you can go to The City and see bankers wearing sharp tailored suits. I think it’s great we have princesses and the queen here – it’s the perfect ground for so many different dimensions of style.’
