Tickets for Tinchy Stryder’s first UK live dates since 2010 were released Friday morning.
The Rollercoaster Tour will see Tinchy performing past hits alongside exclusive new material from his forthcoming album. These intimate shows will start in Liverpool on Wednesday 9 November and end in Tinchy’s hometown at London’s Scala on Sunday 13 November.
Since bursting on the scene two years ago, Tinchy Stryder was 2009’s biggest selling male solo artist in the UK and he got his first number 1 single with the appropriate named, Number 1.
In the past two years, Tinchy has scored two number 1 singles and a gold certified album, embarked on two nationwide sell-out headline tours, opened the Pyramid stage at Glastonbury 2010 and supported Akon, Usher and Rihanna on the UK legs of their Arena tours. This Summer, Tinchy, alongside NDubz’s Dappy, released top 5 single Spaceship which has just been nominated for a MOBO Award for Best Video.
A new album is on the cards for Tinchy and is set to be release in Spring 2012, but the young star has yet to confirm its title.
