Looking for the best way to kick start your 2023? Well, we’ve rounded up the best things you need to do this month.
Let’s kick start the year by stopping the January blues immediately with these awesome experiences and events you can attend throughout the month.
1. The Museum of the Moon
The Museum of the Moon in the Painted Hall at Old Royal Naval College is a must-see exhibition and it also looks great on the gram!
Created by the UK, Luke Jerram, the artwork will be touring around the globe. It will be at Old Royal Naval College until 5th February 2023. Tickets are priced at £12.50 each for Adults, although you can go for free if you’re a Royal Navy serving personnel.
2. Chinese New Year Parade
Celebrate the year of the Rabbit at this year’s Chinese New Year Parade in London. Taking place on Sunday 22nd January, the parade usually starts on Charing Cross Road and continues towards Trafalgar Square.
3. Cirque du Soleil at The Royal Albert Hall
Cirque du Soleil returns to the Royal Albert Hall for its traditional start-of-year slot. Talking place between 13th January – 5th March, this is a show you cannot miss. Tickets can be a little pricey depending on your seat (but it’s so worth it!).
4. Lucid Nights Soulful House Bottled Brunch
If you are looking for a cost-effective party, look no further than the Lucid Nights Soulful House Bottled Brunch. Taking place on Saturday 21st January at Basing House Shoreditch, this bottled brunch delivers a nostalgic day party and it’s an absolute bargain at £25pp, especially in January when we are all feeling the pinch from Christmas. You’ll get bottomless rum punch + Soulful House and non-stop vibes. It’s a party not to be missed. Get tickets from lucidnights.co
5. F1 Arcade
If you’re feeling sad about there being no F1 races until March then look no further and visit the thrilling new F1 arcade and don’t worry…everyone is a champion there!
With full-motion racing stimulators, tasty food, and refreshing cocktails, this is the perfect place to get your F1 needs met!
6. Puppy Yoga at Paw Pal Yoga
30 minutes of Yoga and 30 minutes of Puppy play…What more could you want? I visited Paw Pal Yoga back in December and it was one of the best and most calming experiences in London. The puppies of course do wee and poo (they’re living things) so only attend if you’re happy with that.
7. One Hundred Shoreditch X Retroglow Fitness Classes and Rooftop Brunch
One Hundred Shoreditch has teamed up with Retroglow Studios to kickstart your 2023, bringing you a choice of two fun fitness classes followed by a delicious brunch in The Rooftop.
You can choose from two of their signature 55-minute classes, 90s LIIT & Stretch or 80s Power Ballad Pilates followed by mouth-watering dishes including Smashed Avocado on Sourdough with Poached Eggs and Harissa, Potato Rosti with Smoked Salmon, Keta, and Chives or French Toast with Roasted Peaches and Mascarpone. There will also be a yoghurt pot on arrival.
8. Frameless
Frameless in Marble Arch is possibly the best immersive experience in London. 40 masterpieces and 4 Galleries are all included in 1 ticket. You will need to pre-book and tickets are priced at £32.
