The Saturdays smash it at Wembley with Greatest Hits Tour

When the voice of Rochelle Hume’s sounded around the SEE Arena in Wembley “Fasten Your Seatbelts and Get Ready for Take Off!” excitable fans grabbed their drinks and ran to their seats as the girls shimmied on stage in stunning, sparkly bralets and gold-tasselled mini-skirts.

Looking every inch of girl band glamour, Rochelle Humes, Vanessa White, Mollie King , Una Foden and Frankie Sandford performed smash hits such as’ If This Is Love’ and ‘I Just Can’t Get Enough’ which had fans in a frenzy and everyone in the arena up on their feet.

The stand out performer of the night was Rochelle Humes who looked like she was loving every single second of being back up on the stage, rather than on the This Morning sofa. Plus with her admiring hubby, Marvin Humes sat watching with awe in the audience, she couldn’t have looked happier.

A big shout out must also go to Vanessa White who in my opinion, is still the strongest vocalist in the group. She clearly is the glue that holds the groups vocals together and on the odd occasion when others notes drifted out of tune, Vanessa would bring the girls straight back into harmony.

Popular yummy-mummy, Frankie Sandford looked simply fabulous just two weeks ahead of making her Strictly Come Dancing debut and she certainly didn’t look like someone who had just had a baby that’s for sure. That said, with all those hours of dance rehearsals each week, it’s no wonder she’s looking absolutely gorgeous. You go girl!

Mollie King and Una Foden kept the crowd entertained chatting away in-between songs but I must say despite all the glitzy costume changes, there was a slight dip in energy probably due to the fact that they were winding down their UK tour, which ended last Sunday. That said, it was a really fun show and great to hear some of the best girlie pop anthems live at Wembley.

The last time we met up with The Saturdays we were producing a LIVE hangout on air with Reggae King of the Dancehall Shaggy, and we managed to get an impromptu sing song with Shaggy and The Saturdays. See Below
