Based on a true story, “The Possession” is the terrifying story of how one family must unite in order to survive the wrath of an unspeakable evil. Unlike a lot of horror movies these days that look promising from their trailers and end up being a major disappointment, I really enjoyed this movie and this one delivers for sure! The storyline and characters are great and at the risk of sounding like a total loser I really enjoyed the background music.
The movie is about a demon in a box that is looking to possess an innocent so it can have life and is apparently based on true events.
There’s quite a lot of bad press about this movie saying its bland and boring but I totally disagree, it’s not full of blood and gore but it’s very dark and creepy.
I found the movie more exciting than scary but I’m a bit of a freak like that so I’m still on the look out for a horror that is going to make me s**t my pants.
The Possession is out now at the cinema and is definitely worth a watch.
