To celebrate the launch of the highly-anticipated PlayStation®4 on the 29th November 2013, PlayStation is bringing next-generation gaming to life with the opening of PS4 Lounge #4ThePlayers in Covent Garden, London.
Open to the public from the 15th November to 1st December, the PS4 Lounge will offer gamers hands-on time with the new console and a range of launch titles, including Killzone® Shadow Fall, Assassin’s Creed® IV: Black Flag™ and FIFA 14. Meanwhile, players up and down the country will be able to try the PS4 for themselves in over 600 retail stores nationwide.
Members of PlayStation’s Access community will have the chance to attend exclusive parties at the PS4 Lounge on the 15thand 22nd November, where they will have the chance to win fantastic prizes as their gaming skills are put to the test inDRIVECLUB™ tournaments and RESOGUN™ challenges.
PS4 Lounge will also be host to a series of Next Gen Events designed to educate and inspire the next generation of video game designers, artists and programmers. The networking nights, taking place on 19th and 26th November, will give upcoming developer talent from Universities around the UK the opportunity to learn from the Developers behind top PlayStation titles such as Killzone® Shadow Fall and Tearaway.
