The European premiere and press conference for The Lady in The Van took place in London yesterday as part of the BFI London Film Festival.
The filming starring the legendary Maggie Smith, Jim Broadbent, Alex Jennings and more tells the funny and heartwarming true story of the relationship between Alan Bennett and the singular Miss Shepherd, a woman of uncertain origins who ‘temporarily’ parked her van in Bennett’s London driveway and proceeded to live there for 15 years.
