The Sheraton Gran Canaria Salobre Golf Resort is the type of resort dreams are made of. A place for everything and everything in its place.
The Sheraton Gran Canaria Salobre Golf Resort is 5 star luxury with added spice. The rooms are glorious, with huge beds that make you melt away as soon as you lay down. The bathroom area has huge mirrors, beautiful sink and bath, fantastic shower and lovely wood work.
Every floor of this hotel has its very own pool area. This is great as it means that no matter what pool you visit you will have enough space to lounge and swim and enjoy cocktails while basking in the ambient sun.
Our favourite pool however was the rooftop sunset pool. Sunbeds, loungers, blue skies for miles and trendy clientele makes the sunset pool area the perfect spot for a couples retreat. With up to date music playing from the poolside bar, loud enough to hear yet low enough to be background music and the sun beaming down on your head, Sheraton Gran Canaria Salobre Golf Resort sunset pool is reminds me of a P. Diddy style pool area. The kinda of pool area that you wish you could have a birthday party at. The kind of pool area that would look amazing on a youtube video. You know what I mean?
Unfortunately the Spa was under renovation on our visit so we can’t tell you what it looks like, but if the rest of the hotel is anything to go by, we can guarantee that it’s of the highest standard.
What’s even more impressive about the Sheraton Gran Canaria Salobre Golf Resort is the all important golf course. There’s something dreamy about seeing green perfectly lawned space in Gran Canaria as it’s a far stretch from the usual rocky and mountain like landscape. With sub tropical weather you can imagine how green the grass is.
On our golf buggies we drove around the courses, snapping a few photos while enjoying the scenic views. I could spend all day and night playing golf here. Simple put it’s amazing. Beware of the heat though. The sun seems to be at its peak while on the golf courses… Did someone say refreshments?
The hotel feels secluded and away from the hussle and bussle. Which makes the Sheraton Gran Canaria Salobre Golf Resort a great place for relaxing.
