Adidas is relaunching the original Superstar trainer which first debuted in 1969. The Adidas Superstar trainer is a long running classic trainer that never seems to die.
Remember Run DMC and Aerosmith? Well get ready for the new wave. Rita Ora, Pharrell Williams, David Beckham and Damian Lillard are seen in this 90 mins clip where they reexamine what it means to be a superstar in 2015. The campaign was filmed directed by Karum Huu Do.
According to Rita, being a superstar is like this: “It’s not about walking down red carpets, talking to reporters and waving at fans.”
To celebrate the launch of the adidas Originals Superstar SS15, the sportswear giant and footwear favourite have collaborated with London’s coolest casting agency, Anti-Agency, to create a new girl gang that every fashion-forward female will want to be a part of. Meet the Superstar Girls.
This collective of UK’s finest female talent have come together to create these campaign images, including make-up and hair by the Khalani Twins and photography by Olivia Richardson for adidas Originals x Anti-Agency’s series of bold and exceedingly cool images, demonstrating the versatility of the Superstar.
