Water is the key

It’s talked about so much these days, but water really is important for your skin. It is necessary to drink 2 to 3 litres of water a day to stay hydrated, particularly in colder months when indoor conditions are warmer. If you don’t enjoy drinking water, you can easily jazz it up by adding in some fresh lemon, lime or mint. Chopped up slices of strawberry or kiwi can also add some flavour.

Get some shut eye

It is recommended that an adult gets seven to nine hours of sleep a night to stay healthy physically and mentally, so start getting those early nights in. However, make sure not to lie on your stomach, as this is known to cause premature wrinkling and accelerate an aged appearance.

This isn’t as scary as it sounds – promise! Chemical peels have been advertised a lot in recent years, claiming to have benefits that sound too good to be true. However, they actually can achieve many of the things they claim, as they were once restricted to use by licensed dermatologists and plastic surgeons.
