Rachael Leigh Cook, while obviously coming from very good genes may look fresh faced and beautiful has actually been around on our TV and Film screens for many years.
American actress, Rachel, actually started off her career in the limelight at the tender age of 10 as a model starring in nationwide ad’s in the US. At the age of 14 she was sent to read for a short film and has never looked back.
Even though her first feature length film break was in The Babysitters club in 1995, her big break came in 1999 in She’s All That, Starring opposite Freddie Prinze Jr. The film saw her turn from an ugly duckling into a gorgeous young woman. The film shot her to stardom as it won her many teen awards at the time.
From there Hollywood opened up its pearly gates to the young Leigh and she signed on for a handful of roles including Sylvester Stallone’s Get Carter in 2000 where she played a troubled teen alongside Stallone and our very own Miranda Richardson.
Before her role in Get Carter, she also starred in Dawson’s Creek with James Van Der Beek and Katie Holmes but a number of episodes, showing her talent can be carried across both film and TV, not everyone can do both and pull it off as well as her.
Since then she has appeared on many American TV series which we might not be so familiar with here in the UK, such as crime drama Las Vegas with Josh Duhamel, animation adventure Titan Maximum (which she was a the voice of Lt. Jodi Yanarella) and most recently in mystery crime drama, Perception, alongside Eric McCormack (from Will and Grace fame).
Amongst the many films she has been cast in we have seen her in Nancy Drew, Blonde Ambition with Jessica Simpson and Luke Wilson where she played Haley. As well as starring alongside Kevin Bacon in The Following.
Her Rachael Leigh Cook’s most recent film Red Sky, which is about a disgraced Top Gun fighter pilot leading a rogue squad of professionals to recover a cataclysmic WMD see’s her career just go from strength to strength without any signs of slowing down.
We think we need to see her in more roles that show off just how beautiful she is, as you can see she looks pretty damn good in these pictures and being a mother as well, she should be showing off her beauty a lot more.
Red Sky, featuring Shane West (A Walk to Remember), Bill Pullman (Independence Day), Rachael Leigh Cook (She’s All That), and Maria Guzeeva (Assassination Games), is available on Digital HD from the 25th of May and DVD from the 1st June
