R&B/Soul artist Glenn Lumanta is a part of a new generation of multi-instrumentalists, multi-platform using creatives, unapologetic and hungry to make an impact outside the confines of Sydney’s western suburbs and into mainstream consciousness.
The YouTube star returns with the release of his new single ‘Clarity’ and we’re excited to be able to give you an exclusive stream of the track to be officially released on the 24th of November off his freshman EP out early 2018.
The single gives us the smooth R&B feels, with Glenn’s melodic vocals over some fresh productions, taking us back to 90’s R&B jams.
He’s had a challenging couple of years channelling a recent relationship experience into his latest single ‘Clarity’ produced entirely by himself.
“I wrote this song from the mindset of being completely over someone who has hurt you. When someone really hurts you emotionally, it can be tough to get back on track, to make good decisions, to go a day without thoughts of them that completely ruin your day,” said Glenn.
The single explores layers of instrumentation and new methods of creating sounds, it’s a sound that you would not expect entirely from this R&B crooner.
