Just because you’re getting older doesn’t mean you don’t have a playful side!
Emma Parker the Director of Playful Promises has also written a beautiful blog post detailing the thought process as to why she decided on creating this ‘Ageless Fashion’ campaign. Emma Parker who created Playful Promises at the age of 28 yrs old, states;
I’m now 41 and starting to understand the power of lingerie for older women, and wanted to express and explore this in a photoshoot. I am very much a feminist, and do not create lingerie with the male gaze in mind.
Playful Promises is an independent London-designed brand which mixes quirky, directional design with all things playful, flirty, and even a little bit dirty. Their sumptuous collections consist of corsets, bras and panties, quirky gifts and swimwear. Playful Promises is now stocked in over 200 stores worldwide and on their website.
This isn’t the first time that mature women are getting the spotlight. Plus size supermodel Ashley Graham posed alongside 60-year-old model Gillean McLeod for her latest swimwear collection for swimsuits for all.
And who can forgot the amazing 88 year old Baddie Winkle who featured as the face of the Missguided Campaigns (Stealing Yo man since 1928) LOL!
