After becoming the nation’s beloved X-Factor judge, Scherzy returns with her brand new single ‘Boomerang’. The track produced by will.i.am sees the former Pussycat Doll’s front lady letting her haters know they can’t keep her down. “You can turn me down, you can throw me now. The harder out, the harder I come back around,” she sings with willpower on the fuzzy, club-friendly beat.
The single is a fine example of up-to-date pop, but the heavy beat and recurring “oh woah, oh woah” chorus has the potential to have you listening over and over again. Although Scherzy may have turned down the opportunity of being the female lead in the Black Eyes Peas, this glitzy partnership with, will.i.am, who is also producing her new album bounces high enough for her to secure another chart-hit.
