Eclectic artist Philip Ndukwu had teamed up with vocalist Stacey James for his latest track ‘Windmill’. This is his 2nd release of the year, following on from May’s 4-track EP ‘Black Sheep’.
With ‘Windmill’, Ndukwu was looking to create ‘something with energy and that makes you want to move your body’. The track doesn’t let up from start to finish, blending soaring synth lines, ecstatic drum bursts and a passionate, busy flow from Ndukwu, topped off by a powerfully catchy vocal hook from Stacey James; a certified floor-filler.
Hailing from Nigeria, Philip Ndukwu is an individual who refuses to be put in an artistic box. His work to date has incorporated everything from Soft Rock to EDM and Afrobeat, continuing to explore how different genres can enhance his sound further. After releasing his debut single in 2016, Ndukwu has followed up with two EP’s, both following his creative ethos superlatively well. Now residing in Canada, you can expect plenty more ‘catchy, thought-provoking and fulfilling music’ from Philip Ndukwu in the near future.
