The talk show queen made the bold statement following the 18-year-old heartthrob’s appearance on an upcoming episode of her Next Chapter series.
“She told us (@oprah) that her interview with @justinbieber today was the biggest interview she has done since 1993 with Michael Jackson,” tweeted Biebers manager Scooter Braun.
From his high-profile romance with Selena Gomez, his life in the spotlight and music – no topic was off limits.
In a preview of the interview, Bieber said that although he and Gomez occasionally have to hide in public due to paparazzi and fans, he’s always proud to be seen with her.
“Sometimes we have to sneak out of back doors , but I never make her leave separate from me because I don’t want her to feel like I’m ashamed of her,” he said. “If we get away, we get away together.”
During the candid interview, Oprah and the Biebs did a bit of shopping and even sat down for a candlelit meal in Chicago.
