THE ILLERSAPIENS
Front lined by Mr Man, The Illersapiens are a seven piece hip hop collective hailing from South London that deliver sanguine music with substances of freedom of speech. Famous for their spirited live performances and positive messages, the band is undoubtedly what the UK Hip Hop scene is missing right now!
This 19 year old lyrical genius has the knowledge and wisdom of years beyond his age, James Massiah is one of London’s leading spoken word poet’s performing at various locations such as the Hackney Empire and the O2.
Fingerprint’s Take Over anthem is a definite eminent banger in the funky scene… but who is the lady singing over the catchy beat with the alluring vocals? Cue: Ava B. Not just a prodigious singer and songwriter but additionally a talented actress, she has worked alongside numerous prominent acts including Noel Robinson, rapper Ty and has also made an appearance in the hit series ‘Dubplate Drama’. In 2004, she was blessed to attain second place in the popular talent scout event UK Unsigned, which has found stars such as Leona Lewis and Fundamental. With success already in her grasp, indubitably Ava B is ready to take over with her latest funky track ‘Pants Love!’

Following an inspiring talk with Reggie Styles (formerly Sony Music) in 2003 Mr Play, created the movement Play Entertainment. The team consisting of an array of talented MC’s, hosts and DJ’s strengthened their success throughout the years and are now causing a storm in the scene. Three of them are:
COLDSTEPS – Infamously known for his hook and brand, I Will Be There, this former successful photographer is the first host to ever MC over funky beats. He depicts this urban aphorism as being “more than a rave, more than a line, more than most, it’s a movement”. Performing at various events around the UK, he has done many of high stature, one noticeably, opening the T Pain concert earlier this year.
HECTOR – Starting his career in the old school garage circuit, artist/host is profoundly known for the catchy bar “Nuuuu Tings”, he was also featured on the successful track by Regal Players, “Rudeboy” in 2005.
ZEST – Jump In The Middle and Skank is one of the leading forces of funky tunes and the man behind the vocals is equipped to bring more, with his recent banger I Go Hard. After having a strong passion for music and giving dynamic performances, the big man Zest has established his name on the front line of funky house!
Stunning actress and model Kyla Frye, arrived in the industry at a tender age of two after being featured in a music video, now 22, the face of Sta Sof Fro Hair Dye has a number of achievements under her belt. Best known for playing ‘Tawanda’ in Noel Clarke’s BBC Show WEST 10 LDN, she is currently playing the lead in a feature film, A Heart Divided alongside Eastenders actress Petra Letang. We’re waiting for this one!
Regardless of being in the scene for just under a year, Miss London, a 20 year old comedienne from south London, has already taken over the UK comedy circuit with haste, performing alongside veterans such as Richard Blackwood and Kat! Her gritty humour and hilarious anecdotes have been applauded by many audiences… all eyes on the Princess of Comedy!

After performing at shows around London and being featured on mix CD’s for artists such as PDC for his activism poetry, Ra’ed Poetical released his debut book at the age of 21. One Day It’ll All Make Sense is available online at all major stores such as Waterstones and Tesco’s.
After being inspired by fashion labels such as Trapstar and Billionaire Boys Club, Tazer Black, a debonair fashion designer formed his own prodigy, “Fourtees”, the name signifying the powerful notion that True Talent Takes Time. The funky clothing represents suave individuality and style.
