FAST AND FURIOUS 7
The boys may have gone their separate ways to live normal lives but they are forced back together when their adventures from Fast 6 follow them back home in the form of Jason Statham as Shaw, wanting to avenge his brother, Owen Shaw, death. Of course in Furious 7, this one man killing machine sets his sights on Dom (Vin Diesel), Brian (Paul Walker) and the rest of the gang causing mayhem and distraction in his wake to get to the boys as they set out to rescue and protect the mysterious Ramsey, a highly intelligent hacker who has designed a device called “Gods Eye” but nothing is always that straight forward.
Fast and Furious 7 is ridiculous, silly and totally exhausting but it is so much fun with a lot of heart everything about it says you should hate it but you just can’t help but enjoy it and I for one love this damn franchise.

THE WATER DIVINER
It’s the end of World War I and Australian farmer, Connor (Russell Crowe) makes a promise to his late wife that he will find his three missing sons. He travels to Turkey to find out exactly what happened to them. All three of the boys went missing after the disastrous conflict in Gallipoli, after meeting Ayshe (Olga Kurylenko) in the hotel she owns in Istanbul, makes his way to Gallipoli to find the graves of two of his boys but subsequently finds the third may still be alive after he was only taken prisoner.
Russell Crowe takes his first plunge into Directing with this one and he hasn’t done a bad job (except for the lack of female Turkish actresses). A mixture of war film and cross cultural family drama, this film maybe a bit ambitious for him but he has delivered great story telling with quite a bit of emotional baggage thrown in. The Water Diviner is a humane and intelligent film.

WHILE WE’RE YOUNG
Josh (Ben Stiller) and Cornelia (Naomi Watts) are a childless New York married couple in their mid-forties. As their other friends all start having children, the couple gravitates toward a young hipster couple named Jamie (Adam Driver) and Darby (Amanda Seyfried). He’s an aspiring documentary filmmaker, a vocation Josh already has. Soon the older couple begins enjoying the energy they feel hanging out with the younger generation, but could this lifestyle be a bit too much to deal with for the older couple?
While we’re young is a dark and humorous comedy which might only sit well for those of an older generation, The one liners are on point but there just seems to be something missing, it just all seems a bit too tired for my liking.
