By now you should have heard of the UK’s very own Crep Protect – a universal protector aerosol spray that helps you prolong the life of your shoes. Well the makers of this product celebrated the launch of the ‘CURE’, a shoe cleaner kit on July 17 at Blackwall Studios.
This was an all day event that seamlessly transitioned from exhibition to a party in good style. Guests got to check out the unveiling of the new product from the already familiar shoe brand that’s been gaining notoriety over the past year and half from its shoe spray, the ‘CURE’ is seen as an extension, providing shoe cleaning alongside the shoe protection that’s already available and is sure to be a hit as well. Boasting live interactive art courtesy of Sweaty Eskimo, shoe shine chairs, cocktails, an Instagram wall and let’s not to forget a dope ass goody bag, it’s no wonder the people came out for this one.
There’s no party without great music providers so Funk Butcher, Target from Radio 1Xtra, Rivah Kray and Capital Xtra Morning show host Jade Avia, all spun on the decks in the downstairs club area. All in all, a very smooth and entertaining event, which boosted a guest list including grime lord Jammer, British Olympian Louise Hazel, the Fresh Laces crew, Made in Chelsea’s Sophie Hermann, Manny Norte, Shystie, Arnold Oceng and a whole host of sneaker and style enthusiasts, a very good look for the brand!
Be on the look out for the ‘CURE’ in stores mid-August.
