Irish international phenomenon Picture This rocked Brixton Academy earlier this month.
Consisting of members Ryan Hennessy, Jimmy Rainsford, Owen Cardiff and Cliff Deane, the band played to a packed out Brixton Academy earlier this month. For some fans, this was their first show since the change of restrictions.
Die-hard fans were seen queueing for that prized front-row spot as early as 7 am. With blankets and speakers (playing Picture This songs only…of course), they kept themselves entertained until 7 pm.
When doors finally opened fans were encouraged to get pumped for the band by must-see support acts Lea Heart and New Rules.
As soon as the lights went down and the band appear from the darkness, that’s when the roaring from the fans became ever so loud showing the band that this gig was extremely important for them.
We’ve supported Picture This for many years and seeing the band perform one of their biggest London show was a heartwarming moment for us.
The band performed tracks from their latest album ‘Life In Colour’ and some fan favourites including ‘One Drink’. We might be extremely bias but this show was one of the best we’ve attended this year. From Ryan’s vocals to their stage presence, we haven’t had that much fun in a while.
