This week, the Limelight Film & Arts Awards will bring the glitz and glamour of the Oscars to the streets of London.
This annual short film competition is for London based film makers and the awards ceremony has been planned with exciting performances, celebrity attendees, dignitaries and of course individuals from the film and media industry.
It is the event for all filmmakers, community supporters and anyone who supports the creative sector, helping to build the pathway for our local and urban rising talents.
Previously hosted by Konnie Huq, then Bend it Like Beckham star Ameet Chana in year two, this year the awards host is MTV Base and Choice FM’s presenter KAT, with attendance from Big Brother celebrity Maysoon, Hollyoaks star Helen Pearson, writers from Shameless (Channel 4), BBC Doctors, RSP Group a music and concert venture that have worked with R&B Legends Jagged Edge, Reggae stars Barrington Levy and Freddie McGregor and many more.
