Kimberly Wyatt, former Pussycat Doll and Grammy nominee has been unveiled as the new presenter of The Hits Radio Throwback on Hits Radio, with her debut show set to air this Sunday 10th November 2024 at 7 p.m.

Joining Fleur East on Hits Radio Breakfast to announce the news, Kimberly shared her excitement:

The cat is finally out of the bag! It’s so awesome to be part of the family… I’m so excited, it’s like a new little adventure. I’ve been DJing for quite some time, but to spend some time with everybody on a Sunday and play some of my favourite tunes – I’m really looking forward to it.

Kimberly hinted at what listeners can expect from her Sunday night show, promising a fun mix of nostalgia.

There’ll be a little bit of PCD, of course, but lots of Noughties, lots of hits – keep it fun for a Sunday! I’ll be bringing music, fun, stories… Music takes you back to moments and memories, so to live in that again and share some of that will be fun.

When Fleur asked about her role as a new team member, Kimberly, a mother of three, laughed and revealed her nurturing side.

I do have that maternal instinct and want to take care of everybody, but I’m always down for gossip – I’m not usually the one with the best gossip, I’m good at listening to the goss!

Wyatt first made waves as part of one of pop’s biggest girl groups, the Pussycat Dolls, before branching out as a solo artist and with her duo, Her Majesty and the Wolves. Her impressive career includes selling over 15 million albums and 40 million singles worldwide with hits like Don’t Cha and When I Grow Up. She’s also showcased her talents as head judge on Got to Dance, choreographed for the West End, and took home the title of Celebrity Masterchef champion in 2015. Most recently, she appeared on Dancing on Ice in 2022.

Tune in at 7 p.m. this Sunday on HitsRadio.co.uk or via the Rayo app to join Kimberly for an unforgettable blast from the past.
