The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 opened in the UK this weekend taking an estimated total of £11.2million from 1613 screens at 577 cinemas. These figures mark the largest ever screen count for the franchise in the UK and the largest ever release for Lionsgate UK.
Worldwide, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 grossed $247 million in its opening weekend whilst hitting the #1 spot in 81 of 87 markets.
