The ‘Watch The Throne’ rapper and producer has been talking about deeper subjects, talking about his funeral and revealing that he needs his music to truly affect people before he dies…
The Roc rapper said in his tour diary: “I was just thinking about my funeral a couple of days ago and thinking who would be at the funeral. The people I want to be there, I want to have, like, world leaders that were affected.”
He continued: “Ones that say, ‘Kanye gave me my first shot here. He told me to believe in myself and when I saw this, it made me feel like that.'”
“I want to affect people like that if I pass away.”
It seems that his music truly has affected people, as the rapper is leading next years Grammy awards with 7 nominations on his belt.
At a recent concert he thanked Jay-Z and Beyonce for their support, saying: “I just wanna thank Beyoncé and Jay-Z for standing by me in my darkest hours and you, Chicago, for standing by me in my darkest hour and giving me reason to feel like I should stay alive when the world thought I should die.”
Still displaying his trademark arrogance that we all love him for, he added: “The world turned they back on me for tellin’ ya’ll the truth – and now I’m leading the Grammy nominations.”
