Bursting out of London’s underground music scene Joel Compass has unveiled the brand spanking new video for his debut single ‘Back To Me’. The singer-songwriter, whose music has drawn comparisons to Frank Ocean and Jamie Woon, has long had music coursing through his veins.
His uncompromising approach to music-making – seen in his introduction, is eye-catching. It tells the story of a father and son in some sort of heist that results in the father being shot and then ending up in the hands of a terrifying witch-type lady.
The single has already picked up support from BBC 1xtra. Furthermore, if your taking a liking to the 19 year-olds melting-pot sound, you’ll be glad to know that he will be releasing his debut EP in June through Black Butter Records.
