Jessica found a special connection with The Writers Block, who produced Double. The infectious house track demonstrates Jessica’s feisty attitude as she tells the listener, “If there’s something that you can do that’s not been done… you better come on the double.” The lyric also has a double meaning, as it refers to the drink and drug culture which she has seen growing up in Bow. Throughout the song she contemplates whether she should preach to her friends or accept “it’s just not my scene.”
