Budweiser unveiled their new advert starring rapper Jay Z today. The 30-second clip directed by award winning film director Mark Romanek, comes just as Jay Z is taking the UK by storm. The rapper was this year’s Wireless Music Festival’s headlining act, delivering a blistering set of hits and is also set to tour the UK in the autumn. It was a no brainer for Budweiser to choose Jay Z as their leading man.
The advert entitled ‘Dreams are MADE’ sees Jay Z amongst a host of creators and artists from around the world as his track ‘PSA’ plays in the background. With a cinematic black and white feel, it showcases the Brooklyn born rapper at his finest in the studio and then on stage in front of thousands, ending with the line ‘It begins and ends with what you make’.
The advert also ties in with Budweiser’s MADE for Music program which is focused on bringing live music experiences to fans around the world by holding over 160 events in 25 countries.
