I was lucky enough to get my hands on a pair of Lebron XII EXT from Foot Locker and all I can say is WOW. I mean Wow oh Wow oh Wow. Nike and Lebron have created a monster of a trainer.
Growing up it has always been the Nike Air Jordan that was the hit trainer that everyone wanted, even now many years later, I still can’t say a bad wrong about Jordan’s as they are timeless classic that will never ever die. The trainers are a legend just like the man himself Michael Jordan.
So when I first got my hands on the Lebron XII EXT, I was literally thinking to myself, how are they or could they ever beat Jordan’s. The answer is… I not going to answer.
I’m a size 11 so the box the Lebron XII EXT came in was huge. The black lacquered box made me want to keep the box as a bit of memorabilia as it looks so good. But who cares about the box? Let’s talk about the trainers.
There is something quite uncanny about the Lebron trainers in general. They look like a monster of a trainer, yet they are, and I quote “probably one of the most comfortable trainers I have ever owned”. As soon as you put them on you feel like you are working on the moon. No word of a lie, I actually felt that I could dunk a basketball with my new Lebron XII EXT’s on.
Another great thing about the Lebron XII EXT is the fact that when you actually wear them, they do not seem as big on your feet as they do when you hold them in your hand. The all black leather with the chrome nike swoosh is awesome. Constructed with hyperfuse to enhance breathability without sacrificing support, the Nike Lebron XII EXT has a tire tread-like design which pays homage to his hometown – Akron, Ohio.
