The Design Museum is holding an exhibition featuring visionary designer Issey Miyake this month. Dresses from the Issey Miyake 132 5. collection will be featured in the Design Museum Collection Display which opens 30th January 2013. The designs will be part of the exhibition – Extraordinary Stories About Ordinary Things – until 2015.
The exhibition looks at the inventive uses of plastics and recycled materials. The 132 5. collection features dresses made out of out recycled plastics and won the 2012 Design Museum Fashion Design of the Year. The dresses are extraordinary and definitely worth a look at, so head down to the Design Museum and check out the exhibition.
