Huggle Rules: Blac Chyna take note!

huggle dress rules

We all know that choosing photos for your Huggle profile can be tricky. Which hot is going to grab the swiping person’s attention?

Should your profile pic be of you at graduation just to show how educated you are or that really fun-party photo which shows you like to have a good time? Yes, it’s quite the talent choosing the right photo. In fact, some people seem to have no idea what’s even appropriate to share (we’re looking at you Blac Chyna)!

Blac tweeted her annoyance that her lingerie selfie had been banned due to Huggle’s photo moderation feature. So, we did what journalists do and contacted the social app to ask what is acceptable when it comes to choosing profile pictures.

Dressed VS Naked

So Chyna, take note. Huggle states that the rules are simple. Naked/suggestive-lingerie images are not permitted, however wearing a bikini on the beach is totally fine. Huggle is all for body positivity but does recommend that leaving MORE to the imagination is likely to give the right impression…

Children with an adult VS Children on their own

Banning photos of children on their own, makes a lot of sense. After all, the kids didn’t agree to join a dating app – as Huggle is for anyone 18 or older. Huggle says that by banning child images also limits the child’s exposure to predators and their right to privacy. However, Huggle has said people who want to post a selfie with their child/niece/nephew is entirely fine.

Face not covered VS Face covered

Huggle verifies users by asking them to take a 1-minute selfie. This helps to prevent catfish and to do this Huggle asks it’s users to upload photos where their face can be seen. Balaclavas, ski masks or Halloween masks are not permitted on Huggle. This is also a good thing for users when they meet with the person they’ve match with as they’ll be able to recognise them!!

Clear VS Graphics

Graphics are cool and everything but Huggle has said they don’t allow graphics or blurred images. Photos need to be clear and of good quality. Save the photo editing for later.

One person VS Group

As much as it’s great to show how many friends you are Huggle says your dating photos should be all about YOU. Plus it’s annoying for other users if they don’t know which one is you in the photo. Imagine if they swiped right for your friend and not you. DRAMA! Anyway, upload as many selfies as you want, just make sure you’re dressed!
