What does your job role entail?
My job role entails looking after all our guests needs such as chauffeur services, theatre tickets, restaurant bookings, tours, concerts, sporting events, personal shoppers, beauty treatments etc. I act as the guests guidebook and personal assistant rolled into one.
Describe your working day or week?
My average working day includes researching new events and restaurants so I can keep our guests updated with the latest openings. I meet and greet all of our guests and if they would like I will create them a personal itinerary for their stay in London. If they are travelling I will also create an itinerary their next destination.
What key skills do you need to do your job?
You need to be very personable and outgoing with patience, organisational and travel research skills.
I am also a member of the Society of Golden Keys. It is a professional network of Concierge’s spanning almost 50 countries with 4000 members.
What made you decide to go for this job role?
I love to travel and I enjoy finding hidden gems in London. I know London inside out!
Best part of your job?
I love researching all the new hotspots London has to offer, it doesn’t feel like work! Every day is different for me which makes it exciting.
Worst part of your job?
I can’t think of a worst part of my job!
Most memorable moment at work?
When guests give amazing feedback and thank me if they have seen a part of London that they would normally never see.
Also I was awarded the Golden Keys so I now proudly wear a pair of golden crossed keys on my uniform lapel.

Public relations and Hospitality management suits my job best.
Does work experience really help you to get the dream job?
Work experience definitely helps as it gives you an insight into the job so you can see if the job is actually something that interests you, and if you can see yourself doing it in the future.
