They have also been selected to showcase at NACA 2014 with the hopes of gaining a coveted touring slot on the US college circuit.

We sat down with Cover Drive lead singer Amanda Reifer to get her dating tips.

Amanda ReiferWhat features do you look for in a man?
Amanda: He needs to be confident, funny, musical and someone who likes kids! Physically speaking, I really don’t have a particular type. I’m thinking a hybrid of Pharrell meets meets Thor. I know he’s not entirely real but he’s pretty special.

What would be your ideal date?
Amanda: I love movies. Sounds corny but it is true. Scary movies good for cuddling with your date. Love that!

Do you believe in Splitting the bill on the first date?
Amanda: I’m totally fine with splitting the bill. I’m a girl who likes to eat well, so I’m always happy to contribute.

Biggest misconception about the opposite sex?
Amanda: People assume guys have it easy and don’t have to work up the courage to approach girls. So not true. I live with three guys so I know first hand that this is just not the case.

Give us 1 do and 1 don’t do on a first date
Amanda: Don’t try to rush past getting to know someone before advancing the relationship. Do call him back if you like him. It’s all about becoming friends, so the rule about waiting for him to make the next move does not apply.

I launched Flavourmag as a platform to spotlight all things worth talking about—from travel guides to the best events, experiences, and festivals happening in the UK and around the world. Whether it’s boutique getaways, luxury holiday destinations, or standout restaurants worth the hype, I’m all about exploring and sharing the good stuff that makes life more exciting. On the tech side, I review everything from the latest cars to smartphones, headphones, and smart home gear. If it’s slick, innovative, and built to enhance your lifestyle, you’ll find me testing it out. When night falls, I switch gears and put on my DJ hat playing House music at parties, raves, and club nights across the UK. Music and events are in my DNA, and I love curating unforgettable nights filled with good vibes.
