House producer Mac releases new single ‘Cash Buggy’

Electronic artist Mac has teamed up with fellow producers Dave Espionage & Brickoff to release his brand new single ‘Cash Buggy’. This is his debut release under the 548 Label.

‘Cash Buggy’ combines the trio’s production talent, along with their ear for well-fitting samples. The track positions classic hip-hop samples from Charmel and Wu-Tang Clan atop groovy House drums and infectious synths and piano, blending together for a summer-ready remix.

Hailing from San Francisco, Mac has over 20 years experience in the America House scene, performing at venues across his home country. During his career, he has hosted his own radio show in Virginia and enjoyed residencies in the aforementioned state and Washington D.C. Citing inspirations such as Honey Dijon and Lo Steppa, Mac describes his music as ‘funky, bass-heavy house with RnB and Hip Hop influences’.

Creating original compositions and remixes for the past 25 years, plus 20 years testing his theories in clubs across the country, he’s got a pretty solid idea of how to move a room. His background comes from years of exposure to rock, R&B, hip-hop, and all the underground has to offer. Key influences come from the likes of A Tribe Called Quest, Simian Mobile Disco and Bonobo.

‘Cash Buggy’ is available now on Beatport and Apple Music.
