We catch up with Misha B backstage at vInspired’s National Awards to find out the inspiration behind her brand new single ‘Here’s To Everything’.
She has been through the wind, the rain, the fire… and yet she is still standing. Misha B has credited her brand new single ‘Here’s To Everything’ as the inspiration behind her inner-strength. The ‘Homerun’ star remains a fighter, despite the many lows she has experienced. Her time on the X Factor was tainted with scandals – judges Tulisa Contostavlos and Louis Walsh accused the singer of being a “bully”, but it was what Misha did afterwards this is surprising.
“Forgiving is the thing that I have done. I believe that in situations that occur in life, you shouldn’t get bitter you should just get better,” she said following her departure from the show. The 21-year-old may have forgiven, but we are sure she hasn’t forgotten as her main focus right now is her (very promising) music career.
‘Here’s To Everything (Ooh La La)’ serves as the third official single from her hotly-antcipated debut debut album (as yet untitled). The song which samples The Fugee’s classic ‘Fu-Gee-La,’ showcases her survival as a person, and exemplifies her incredible talent as a vocalist. “It’s a celebration of life… Here’s to the lows that will make the beautiful highs…Here’s to everything,” says Misha.
Flavour’s Noel Phillips spoke to the star backstage at vInspired’s recent National Awards. Misha spoke about the motivation behind her “beautiful highs” in ‘Here’s To Everything’ and also revealed the secret behind her full-of-life energy. Oh and, she also did a bit of dancing towards the end. No joke. Have a look above.
