With haunting animations using real oil paint on glass and stop-motion technology put together frame-by-frame to create a truly amazing visual experience. We follow the trajectory of a hunted woman through the forest, and it’s definitely worth the trip.
And let’s not forget the music; capturing, strange, evolving production creates the perfect mood for the journey, accompanied by the crisp and stunning vocals of the Australian quartet’s lead singer Hayley Mary.
Their upcoming album Synthia is due for release on February 12th through Caroline/Universal and focuses on ‘the simplistic perception of the synthetic feminine verses the authentic male in the rock world’.
The theme can certainly be picked up on in the video, and the ending is a sort of glorious statement to ponder upon, but I won’t tell!
