Guess who’s back? Our favourite UK burlesque performer Miss Polly Rae and her awesome show ‘Between the Sheets’ returns to the Southbank at the Underbelly Festival from 15th June – 29th September 2017.
Miss Polly Rae: Between the Sheets is an up-close and personal show, with some of the hottest talent in 21st century burlesque! Burlesque superstar and founder of global striptease sensation The Hurly Burly Show, Miss Polly Rae returns to the Southbank for a summer season of her critically-acclaimed revue.
Celebrating so many shades of sensual and all things risqué, Between The Sheets is a thrill-seekers paradise of late night cabaret performed by an exceptional troupe, hand-picked from the worlds of contemporary burlesque, circus and dance. Rib-tickling comedy meets gasp-inducing spectacle, in a high-energy and distinctly modern variety show. Miss Polly Rae is a performer, chanteuse, compère and producer who has toured the world showcasing her breathtaking combination of striptease and song. Director Laura Corcoran (Frisky & Mannish, Hotel Black Cat) has co-created this year’s show, and Polly is joined by an exquisite cast including Beau Rocks, Duo Visage, Lilly Snatchdragon, Tom Cunningham and Myles Brown, as well as the company’s founder member and international wild child of burlesque, Kitty Bang Bang.
