Her career has gone from strength to strength since she appeared as Vanessa Abrams on the hit TV show Gossip Girl in which she got to kiss some (or make that all) of the shows major hotties. The Internship has provided her with her first major film role since the show finished in 2012 and she took to the red carpet with, I’m assuming, the intention of making girls everywhere feel like crap. Yes she really looked that good!
The film, that came out on the 3rd, of this month, has received mixed reviews from critics but Jess showed them that she didn’t care about anything other than leaving everyone in her wake totally gobsmacked. She sported a stunning 1920’s dress with gorgeous black and silver embellishments and sheer sleeves. The 20’s trend is huge right now especially with the release of The Great Gatsby. Retro and vintage shops are also doing a roaring trade which just goes to show new is no longer cool and it’s all about the history.
She matched it with black platforms, which was a good idea as they didn’t take any attention away from the dress but matched it perfectly. White is always the colour of choice when it comes to the Summer months and she made sure she gave a nod to the trend by exhibiting bold, white nail varnish.
