If jostling for a spot on Henman Hill isn’t your cup of tea, then Galvin at The Athenaeum is serving up the perfect Afternoon Tea to celebrate Wimbledon fever.
The five-star Athenaeum Hotel and Residences have created a delicious and Instagram-worthy afternoon tea to celebrate the iconic tournament.
The tennis-inspired spread includes Wimbledon Tube Station carrot cake, tennis ball salted caramel tart, strawberry cheesecake with pink summer meringue and strawberry powder, and passion fruit meringue Victoria Sponge with white chocolate. The sweet treats are complemented by freshly prepared scones and sandwiches.
The Wimbledon Afternoon Tea will be available for the duration of the tournament from 2-15 July at £39 per person. If you’d like to toast to the occasion, bottomless frizzante is available at an extra £10 per person.
