Once again, Gala Festival brought a wonderful weekend of music to Peckham.

The community-driven festival celebrated its ninth year this May bank holiday weekend with dance acts of all sizes at Peckham Rye Park.  Come rain or shine, fans were out in full swing for a full day of fantastic music and experiences.

Although Gala Festival has a cult following, this is the perfect festival for those who want to expand their music taste and experience pure joy with their friends. From DJ EZ to Crazy P and Folamour, the weekend saw everyone dancing from start to finish.

From the moment we arrived, the only time we stopped dancing was when we grabbed some food, it’s impossible to stop, everything about the gala was perfect. The vibes, the crowd, and even the food. With overflowing tents and multiple stages you will never have a dull moment.

Crazy P was straight on our radar, a perfect combination of vintage disco, soul, and house while providing fans with a theatrical on-stage performance.

Flavourmag favourite Folamour closed Sunday night drawing in thousands of fans. He brought his vibrant energy and positive spirit to the stage with a few tracks from his album Manifesto and a classic Folomour disco-house mix.

If you’ve never been to a Folamour set, you must make it your mission this summer.  Think amazing visuals, constant great vibes, and music that will make you want to keep the night going forever.

And if you missed out on this year’s gala festival, set a reminder for 2025… we think it’s going to be even greater than this year. You can’t celebrate 10 years without a bang right?
