Multi- award-winning hip-hop DJ, DJ Yoda, is teaming up with Ford’s co-bot to celebrate 40 years of Fiesta by mashing-up music from the last four decades.
The mash-up will take place during the big reveal of Ford’s new Fiesta on 29th November at Ford’s third Go Further event in Cologne.
From 30 November a behind-the-scenes video of DJ Yoda teaching the co-bot to turntable will be available as will video and stills of the final mash-up.
DJ Yoda is a multi-award-winning hip-hop DJ and producer who headlines festivals and clubs around the world. Working with classical composers to neuroscientists; brass bands to film directors; Dr Dre to Dame Evelyn Glennie; Banksy to Mark Ronson; BBC Radio 4 to the BFI, he reinvigorates his craft with wry invention and humorous intent.
This latest partnership with Ford’s co-bot is a first for DJ Yoda, who is famed for his fresh approach and unique ways to bring turntables out of the clubs with bespoke collaborations. Ford’s turntablist co-bot is part of the same family of machines that alongside humans at Ford’s assembly plant in Cologne Germany, where they install shock absorbers onto Fiesta subcompact vehicles.
