Flavour present our 5 favourite tracks of the week. I have tried to clear steer of Drake this week, so please forgive me if one slips in… I really can’t help that he is a hit machine.
Rihanna – ‘Cockiness’ (I Love It)
Taken from Rihanna’s sixth studio album, this is one of more controversial additions to the LP. Produced by Bangladesh, you can’t help but sing along to the catchy hook.
Mary J Blige featuring Drake – ‘Mr Wrong’
Mary J is back and sounding better than ever. I heard this at the AMA awards and fell in love. And no, it had nothing to do with Drake being on it. I swear…
Wale featuring Miguel – ‘Lotus Flower Bomb’
I must say, it was Miguel who made this song the beauty that it is. I love the chorus and Wale’s flows are as smooth as a silk. One for the bedroom. Winning.
Sway featuring Kano – ‘Still Speedin’’ Remix
When I heard this I was relieved to hear from Sway – he had disappeared from the scene for a while. Featuring Top Boy Kano, this one is a smash on road and will be in the charts.
Stooshe – ‘Betty Was Gone’
Were you at last week’s Flavour Live? If not, you missed out as these ladies performed. Reminiscent of TLC and Destiny’s Child with a strong British twist, they’re set to blow in 2012.
