There is said to be “intense” rivalry between Naomi Campbell and Tyra Banks. The pair are apparently embroiled in a malicious catfight over Naomi’s new show The Face, which according to Banks is a much “cheaper version” compared to her very own popular series, America’s Next Top Model.
Adding fuel to the fire, Naomi, 42, has enlisted Nigel Barker – a judge who was dropped from Tyra’s modelling show after 18 seasons. It appears the 39-year-old chat show host has plenty to be concerned about, with America’s Next Top Model been cut back from two seasons per year to one.
The two supermodels who share a history of disputes apparently sorted out their differences a few years back, but now “Tyra feels her rival is going for blood!” an insider told The Enquirer.
Naomi’s show already features a few big names, including runway superstar and fellow models Karolina Kurkova and Coco Rocha, mentoring three teams of aspiring models competing to represent ULTA beauty products.
