Raye is a relatively new artist from the UK taking the Uk by storm. I’m looking forward to seeing what she does next!
Can you tell us a bit about yourself?
R- I’m Raye, I’m a singer/Songwriter from Croydon and I love music
What makes you want to global events?
R- The fact that you have a huge amount of people that come together globally representing how powerful and important our planet really is by just turning all our lights off, something so simple. As a young person myself its important to think now of our children and grandchildren and the future of our planet. Musicians and Celebrities have a huge impact on young people, so putting out such an important message is very beneficial.
I heard that Years and Years really like your work, do you think you guys could work together soon
R- Olly and I have a great relationship, he is amazing; I love his work and he has been very supportive of me, I would love to see something happen soon
Is there anyone else you would like to work with?
R- there is a producer called 1 girl, she is killing the music scene at the moment, and she has worked with artists such as Jay-Z and Rhianna so working with her would be really cool
What would you say is your greatest achievement so far?
I have been able to meet and work with some amazing people who have made such an important impact on my life. I’m also waiting for the next thing to come along
What are your plans for the rest of the year?
The last few months I’ve been finishing up all the songs for my first single and EP, its been a lot of hard work, a lot of time in the studio but its all coming together.
