Tonight see’s the highly anticipated new series, Mr. Robot, starring Christian Slater and Rami Malek get its premiere exclusively on Amazon Prime.
The thrilling new drama series had it’s first episode of MR. ROBOT premiere in the U.S. earlier this year at the South by Southwest Film Festival, where it won the Audience Award for Episodic Television. It later aired on the USA Network. Now Amazon has picked up all 10 episodes of the critically acclaimed series from Universal Cable Productions to stream in the U.K.
Mr. Robot stars Rami Malek (The Pacific) as Elliot, a young computer programmer who works as a cyber-security engineer by day and as a vigilante hacker by night. Elliot finds himself at a crossroads when the mysterious leader of an underground hacker group played by Christian Slater (Nymphomaniac) recruits him to destroy the firm he is paid to protect. Compelled by his personal beliefs, Elliot struggles to resist the chance to take down the multinational CEOs he believes are running (and ruining) the world.
