Celebrities Tinie Tempah and N Dubz joined comedian Eddie Kadi on stage at The O2 arena last Saturday.
Making history as the first black UK comedian to headline at The O2 arena, Eddie Kadi packed out the venue and energetically entertained the crowds with his quick wit and clean comedy, while interacting with his celebrity filled audience. Demand was so high more tickets were released, with over 900 being sold on the day alone.
Chart-topping trio N-Dubz were down to two in the absence of Dappy, but Kadi quickly stepped up to become the 3rd member for a rendition of “Number One”. Soap Star Diane Parish joined Eddie onstage for a Q&A and the delighted audience were treated to a surprise performance from hottest talent on the block, Tinie Tempah.
Other performances on the night included MOBO-award winner YolanDa Brown, gospel-artist Guvna B, singer/dancer Mohombi, UK hip-hop Artist Smiler, french dance-troop Patcho Debenq and no-name crew and Clement Marfo and the Frontline.
Celebrity fans who supported Eddie on the night included UK Artists Tinchy Stryder, Chipmunk, Kano, McLean, TV personality and Radio 1 DJ Reggie Yates, comedian Kojo, ex-Eastender Rudolph Walker and DJ Tim Westwood – among others. Tinchy, Chipmunk and Kano even received a grilling from Eddie.
