Legendary fashion house Dior has taken over luxury department store Harrods for a whole month, to showcase a pop-up exhibit of designs from the first Dior collection in 1947 up until the present day. The whole fourth floor of Harrods has been taken over to display the gorgeous gowns. Could there be a more exciting partnership?

At the weekend all 33 of the stores windows were given to Dior to use. The theme recreates Dior’s love of everything British and the store windows feature the Queen’s telephone boxes, guard booths, J’Adore perfume bottles and Harrods teddy bears and mascots all in the Dior luxury trademark look.

Last week the launch brought the stars out in style onto the grey carpet (Dior’s favourite colours are white and grey)  and celebrity guests on the night included Natalia Vodianova, Gemma Arterton, Liberty Ross and Gillian Anderson who all made an effort to look chic for the exhibition. The exhibition opened for the general public on Friday and if you J’adore Dior you need to get down to Harrods and take a look for yourself.
